Welcome Guest
This forum seeks to provide an informal learning opportunity to people of a wide range of backgrounds, of all faiths, and no faith. It seeks to promote listening and learning on a deep level, and understanding of points of view different to our own (with no sense that we necessarily should adopt those views!). We try to welcome into the discussions people in a wide range of cultural and geographical situations. We hope that this will build bridges between the different cultures and faiths in the North East of England.

In joining this forum I agree: 1. to seek to consider carefully the views of others, even those with which I profoundly disagree 2. when speaking of religion, to remember that those of other faiths might not understand words and phrases I am used to 3. to engage in open enquiry with others, not simply propagate my own views 4. to avoid all aggressive language
